The Department of Science and Technology (DOST), through the funding support of the DOST Region 2 as the oneSTore National Program focal region, collaborated with the Estancia De Lorenzo (EDL) to launch its 37th Hub on 28 May 2022, 8:00 AM, at the Estancia De Lorenzo, San Mateo, Rizal.
As the host region, DOST-CALABARZON welcomes and pledges its commitment to support the successful implementation of the project. Direct coordination with EDL will be done through its Provincial S&T Center (PSTC) of Rizal.
“We are happy to have our first oneSTore Hub here in the CALABARZON,” said Ms. Emelita P. Bagsit, Regional Director of DOST-CALABARZON, “We want to extend our thanks to the former Regional Director of DOST Region 2 and the current Undersecretary for Regional Operations, Usec. Mabborang, for the financial and technical support that made this project possible.”
During the launch, the Office of the Regional Director will be represented by Mr. Fernando Ablaza, Provincial Director of the PSTC-Rizal.
Esteemed guests namely, DOST Secretary Fortunato de la Peña; Engr. Sancho A. Mabborang, DOST Undersecretary for Regional Operations; and Dr. Eulalio D. Lorenzo, President of the Estancia De Lorenzo are set to attend the said launch and deliver their messages of support.
The Department of Science and Technology’s (DOST) oneSTore aims to provide Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) a platform to better consolidate and market their products to various customers online. The oneSTore aims to promote Filipino products, provide customers with an effortless shopping experience, and give retailers simple and direct access to the largest customer base in the Philippines. As part of its components, the oneSTore HUB, together with the oneSTore Vending Machine, will be established at the said site.
