The Department of Science and Technology IV-A (DOST IV-A) proudly confirmed on Monday, April 20, 2015, another levelled-up recognition the organization acquired in 2014, in return to its unwavering pursuit in imbibing excellence in their Human Resource system, through the PRIME-HRM Accreditation Level II granted by the Civil Service Commission (CSC). DOST IV-A is one of the five (5) agencies in Laguna who fit-in CSC’s bill of standards in creating archetypal touch of commitment to its internal customers, the workforce.
“Very few agencies retained their PRIME-HRM accreditation, one of them is DOST IV-A,” said by Laguna Provincial Director Emma Barrera of CSC- Laguna field office, in her opening statement as she orients the agency’s unit heads. This advancement in the system doesn’t simply make the work force “public servants, but professional public servants” she added.
The PRIME-HRM or The Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management “integrates and enhances the Personnel Management Assessment and Assistance Program (PMAAP) and the CSC Agency Accreditation Program (CSCAAP). It is a mechanism that empowers government agencies by developing their human resource management competencies, systems, and practices toward HR excellence.”
